  4. 84 - [(5 * 4) + 2] * 3 = 18

  5. 84-[5 x 4] + [2 x 3] = 18

i dont really understand what you are asking. sorry

  6. 84-[(5*4)+2)]*3=18

  7. 84-[5*4]+[2*3]=18

    idkk.

  8. 84-(5*4+2*30)

    hope i helped :D

    x

  9. 84-[(5*4)+2]*3

    84-[(5*4)+2]*3 = 84-[20+2]*3 = 84-22*3 = 84-66 = 18

  10. 84-{[(5*4) + 2] *3}  = 18

This way, it makes it 84-66, which is 18.  However, you don't need all of those brackets, because of the order of operations.  Multiplication is implied first.  Therefore, the easiest way to write it would be the following:

    84-(5*4+2)(3) = 18

First you would multiply 5*4, and get a result of 20.  Then add two since it's inside the same parentheses.  Now you have 22*3, which is 66.  Voila.

  11. 84-[(5*4+2)*3]=18

    84-[(22)*3]

    84-[66]

    18
