MCAT Question. Very Important. Please Help.?

I am taking the MCAT tomorrow morning for the first time. I did not prepare as much as I'd like to because of personal reasonsand I am already saving money to schedule a new test near January.

My question is- I read that at the end of the test it can be "voided" and not graded. Is there any record that the test was attempted if this is done?

Which is better to void the test or the score it and receive a very low score?

  1. If you void the test, no record will be kept of your score, and the non-score will not be available to med schools.  Of course, you won't know the score either, and there's little chance that you will know how you've done (unless you've completely bombed).

It's probably too late to reschedule your test.  Since you've paid for it, you might as well take it and at least get the feel for the testing circumstances.

Void the test if you don't want to know how you've done.  I'm not positive, but I think that a scored attempt (even a very low score) will remain on your record.

    Good luck!
