MCCAIN SUPPORTERS, why are you voting for him for President?

Question

Try doing this WITHOUT MENTIONING OBAMA OR BIDEN.

I'm very curious to hear these answers.

I like McCain.  Why are you voting for Obama?  Try answering the question without answering with McCain, Bush, or "change".

experience, that party both hate abortion, and anyone who votes for Obama is voting for the slaughter of innocent blood, MURDER in the first degree..Obama speaks of change...what change? Change to keep marrying g*y's? to keep sucking the fetus;s out of mothers?  wow, now thats alot of change.

I like his positions on:

taxes, free trade, immigration, foreign policy, the Iraq War (he was right on with the surge and I was wrong, so I admire that), pork barrel and abortion. I disagree with him on global warming and campaign finance reform. I wish he were more capitalist.

I like his experience, his record as a reformer, his independence as a Senator, his willingness to cross party lines, and his ardent opposition to pork and wasteful spending.

And I didn't mention you-know-who and you-know-who's VP pick.

I was never particularly thrilled with McCain for president. He's definitely a better choice than Obama. I feel a lot better about voting for McCain now that he picked a real conservative for VP.

I'm voting for him because he isn't liberal

I'm voting for him because he is the VERY OBVIOUS choice

I'm voting for him because now that he has a VERY INTELLIGENT WOMAN vice president if anything should happen to him (god forbid) we will have a wonderful woman president

I'm voting for him because I do not want to see this country be destroyed by inadequate leadership

I'm voting for him because I love this country and would hate to have to move elsewhere all because a bunch of idiots vote for the wrong person

His platform is the best.  I would have liked a better candidate but he is the best of the two without any doubt whatsoever.

Because he is more conservative than the other candidate. He would not be my first choice but better than the alternative. It is hard to not mention Obama or Biden because they are running against him and any vote for or against them would be because of comparison. The problem is because I feel I am being forced to vote the lessor of the evils. So I have to compare his positions to Obama's.

I was undecided until his VP pick. I feel he went in a conservative direction that I cannot support.

He makes up his own mind on issues like immigration.
