  3. I've laughed after hearing the B word before too.  Does that mean I'm self-loathing? By the way, he didn't laugh until the guy said, "She's talking about my ex-wife" and even if he fell on the floor laughing I wouldn't care.  I vote based on policy, not trivial nonsense.  It was so unexpected for the woman to say that, that's why people laughed by the way.

I gather you have never participated in board meetings or executive meetings or staff meetings in your lifetime.  I have been in many and this is not surprising to me at all.  I could always tell when things were going badly cuz I did not hear any jokes or laughter going on.   Don't get so upset over every little word spoken behind meeting doors.    I am truly more interested in who can run the country and set policy than listening into every word said by their staffers along the way.
