MEN: In relationships with females, do you weigh winning the battle against the risk of losing the war?

Do you ever feel that if you assert yourself in your relationship with a female that you run the risk of her breaking up with you just because you won't acquiesce sufficiently?

a real man can never lose the war.  if she will not accept your calm, assertive leadership and instead wants to "wear the pants", she loses the war.  She will get some lapdog to follow her around, and you will go get a real woman that is not afraid of men, and doesn't have a chip on her shoulder about being submissive to the wishes of a loving, but strong man.

I once cared enough to try to do that.  Nowaday's not so much.  You have to have a personality that drives women to come back to you.  Or else you'll go insane from the stupid **** she get's pissed about.

A man asserting himself is increadibly delicious! Don't worry if some break up with you keep being yourself. You'll find someone who loves it soon enough. Don't change there is no greater turn off than a man who does not respect himself.
