MEN ONLY i want 2 know how 2 use the headset on XBOX LIVE?

ok, first of all im not a tomboy, so dont say that.

im VERY girly, beautiful, funny, etc. so dont judge please.

anyways.... my headset doesn't work on xbox live and its plugged

into the controller. so this happen 2 any1 else?

theres a button on the side if u have an older brother or sister i recommend asking them to set it up also if having any communication probs while online do not continue to use the headset

what u have to do is when u wanna talk to someone u have to hit the right butten during the game and when ur in a lobby u dont have to press anything hope i help good luck

THERE IS A switch on the middle of the headset if you have the right one.

Hello there, i have also experienced this problem you normally have to go buy a new one or if you have actually snapped the microphone plug into the xbox360 controller you can take out the battery pack and at the bottom you will see where it has got jammed in.

I reccomend taking it out for a few days leave it (Dont let it get dusty though) Hehe and then try it again if it doesnt work then im sorry your going to have to buy a new one.

it might be the controller or u might need to get a new mic, but try cleaning the mic port, or try using a different controller.or it might be ur xbox live connectin

anyway! you have to put more detail about WHY it dont work. here are some possible solutions:

1. the family settings on your xbox console are stopping you from talking to people, so change it (thats what happened to me).

2. in a game with more than 4 people you have to press right on the d-pad then talk.

3. you might have muted your microphone by accident so look for a button on your microphone that looks like the mute button and un mute it.

4. your headset might just be broken so just buy a new one
