MEP's - Do u think their expenses seem to be rather high?

Not only MP's now MEP's seem to have difficulty in curbing their expenses.

99% of all polititions regardless of nationality or party are only in it for money. Leave a loophole and they'll be through it like a rat up a drain pipe. I suspect they build in the loophole for their own ends.

this has been going on since they instigated the EEC, and no one was looking at their expenses and freebies, its been pointed out before but no one has actually done anything about it simply because many are in on it.

They all seem to have stupidly large expenses for what they do.

very high in most cases - I think they should have very low expenses and only if something exceptional comes along have to ask on bended knee for it - AS IF

Yes. Though some expenses are fair and inevitable they need to be much better controlled. It's not good enough for MP's and MEP's to tell us times are tough and we must suffer raising Global oil and food prices if they don't as well. They are our leaders and must lead by example, or lose what little respect they have left.
