  1. If it was screening for diabetes you would probably know because usually they do a glucose test for that which requires you to drink a nasty sugary drink and then wait an hour and then they take your blood.

  2. just stuff like Aids and any diseases, viruses, or any abnormalities that may bar you from service.

  3. Not exactly sure since i don't work there, but they screen for anything that ain't normal.  Reason why they do all soft of physicy exam prior you enlisted, so they don't has to pay your medical bills one you in if you are had medical issue prior joinining.

  4. Standard blood chemistry including HIV

  5. It does screen for diabetes.  Along for Hep, HIV, cholesterol, prostate cancer, and a number of other conditions.  And don't believe the poster who says that if you have something that the military won't take you or be responsible for treating any condition.  Once you're in, you're in.  The military will take care of you regardless of what you had or didn't have prior.

A little advice, if you need dental treatment (fillings, cleaning, etc.) NEVER, EVER miss a dental appointment.  Dental appointments once you're in are very difficult to schedule and if you miss an appointment, chances are you won't get another schedule for at least 30 to 45 days later if not longer.

    Good luck.

  6. As I recall, they don't ask you to fast, so I don't believe they can test for diabetes accurately if they included it in the screening.
