METS FANS: How do you think Jerry Manuel has done so far with the team?

Since Willie left I think hes done pretty good

15 games over .500 1st in the NL East

The team certainly has played very well since Manuel took over. How much of that can be attributed to the managerial change... I don't know. I've heard that Manuel is much more laid back and gets along better with the players. Randolph, allegedly, was very businesslike and aloof. I guess that could be a problem. But nevertheless, you can't argue with success and the Mets have been great since Manuel took over, despite being without 33% of their starting offense and losing their closer. He's done a great job keeping the Mets in the race.

I think he has done very well, the mets fans seem to like him collectively aswell.

A+.......what more can u ask for he took a team that wasn't living up to its potential and made it a 1st place team........hes managed as well as u can.....even though the bullpen has struggled he has brought the right men in to pitch at the right times the players just haven't got the job done cant fault him for that

I think Jerry Manuel is doing a good job so far. The METS are winning. That's all that matters.

i think he deserve the NL manager of the year

he took a team that was struggle to get in the .500 and in 3rd place in to a team that is in 1st place wit the best starting 5 in baseball
