  1. I have never heard that it was harmful. I have been using a microwave  to cook my food  from scratch for nearly 30 years without a problem and l've lived to be 80.

  2. no, i really and honestly don't think that it's bad for you.

but, i mean, if you don't know for sure, then don't stand in front of it until you do know.

  3. Microwave food is bad for you but not for the reason you gave...Most microwaveable foods tend to be processed foods with high fat and a very high salt content...Home cooked foods (ie. on the stove or in the oven)...tend to use natural ingredients...which retain more of their nutritional value...

  4. Some people think that microwaving your food is bad because the energy from vibrations of the water molecule breaks down amino acids of proteins and convert them into d-NitroSodienthanolanines, a carcinogenic substance.

However, the effect may be minimal.

I wouldn't worry too much about microwaving foods.

Also, the radiation of the microwave has literally no effect on your health, so don't worry about that.

As a side note though, TV dinners and other microwave foods are unhealthy because of its nutrition content, but not because of the microwave; I would stay away from those foods.

  5. yes the microwave in bad if you stand right it front of it.

the microwave waves are bad for your brain.

and the microwave only heats up the foods molecules it doesn't actually cook the food.

  6. yeah it is bad for you. its because it cooks it with radiation. Not heat. For instance, if you run your microwave for a minute with nothing in it, and you open it, u will notice it is the same temp. as before.

Take care. try using the oven and stove. but when necessary the microwave is fine :]

  7. Oh My! Its Extremely Bad! Very Bad! Super Bad! May i suggest cooking in in the oven or on the stove and i know the microwave makes everything much simpler and easier but its horrible for your body. Infact the man who invented it doesnt even have one in his home.

    Hope That helped You Out!

  8. I concur with previous answer

  9. No, microwaving your food isn't bad for you. It just makes most food taste like c**p. Take the time, cook it right and enjoy the better taste.

  10. i don't think so

  11. No, it is not bad for you.

The only people who have to be careful are vegetarians.  They are at risk for a lack of Vit. B-12 to begin with, and the nuker destroys vit. B-12 in foods.

  12. It's fine. A microwave heats food by causing water molecules to vibrate, thus creating heat from friction.

  13. the microwave oven emites 'micrwaves' that accelerate the partacles in the food which makes it hotter. the microwave only releases these waves when the door is closed or tampered with, its bad if you run the microwave when the door is open because the microwaves are being let out(the microwave brand doesnt go far

so no useing a microwave to heat you food isnt bad for you unless the door is open when you microwave it

  14. Generally speaking, it's only dangerous for the risk of making your food too hot to handle.  There are a few compounds that undergo interesting changes under microwave radiation; but they're not things you would want in your food anyway.

  15. It is harmless. Just another way of using heat to cook food. It's not ideal for some foods, particularly meats that you want to be browned by the heat source, but on many things it is as good and even superior to other methods.

    Enjoy!
