MILITARY GUYS ONLY...during boot camp, what kind of underwear did u have to wear?

My buddy told me that he had to wear tighty whities the entire time in boot camp. I was wondering if this was true and if so, did the guys sleep in just their tighty whities?

You are issued 5 pair of OD boxers and 5 OD T-shirts.....but the Army they could usually care less what you wear..... you get a clothing allowance with which you repair and replace the underwear  and other pieces of clothing you are issued.... In thirty years I only saw ONE time when anyone got in trouble for his choice of underwear

I was in jump school..... we had just ran 5 miles in the rain.....the black hats told us to change into our dry uniform ( we carried a change in the field pack)..... a major was wearing bright red under shorts.... they caught him .....they made him prance around the PT pit signing "Here Comes Santa Claus"

Some people sleep in their underwear.... some sleep nude ( the brave or stupid depending on your opinion)...... some sleep in their PT clothes....... no rules in the Army

Yep, hubbo said he had to wear tighty whities during boot camp...and I'm guessing they wore t-shirts and sweats to bed.

Navy was tighty whitties. Probably still is. Everyone else is wearing them. Your too tired to care.

Army in 86...We had a choice between Boxers and Briefs...Not White but c**p Brown...Lowest bidder which meant after several weeks the elastic band was stretched out and they fit like a wet diaper

Whatever is issued.  Don't worry about it as you have no choice.

Well, you wear whatever they issue you in the Marines. And that is like almost everything.

I am not a guy but everyone wears plain white underwear during training and you sleep in you pt uniform(T shirt and shorts).
