  1. As long as you have quality fencing, and they are used to the grass. If you know that they won't fonder, or get colic, than they should be fine as long as there is no wolves, or coyotes out at night, and there are no bigger horses in there with them. Good luck, you should post pictures! Mini's are so, so beautiful!

  2. Yeah. As long as it dosent get too coold out at night, they should be fine. When it does get cold, put a blanket on them and they will be okay. Miniture horses are notoriously hardy.

  3. As long as the weather is nice, the fencing good, and not out with big horses (bad idea in a small enclosure) they should be fine!

  4. Mini foals are so cute my mum breeds them.

They should be fine outside, just make sure they can't get out of the paddock.

Also be carefull with the water trough. My mum had the minis in a paddock that had a massive water trough and some how the foal got stuck in it. We still can't work out how the d**n thing got it. The foal is ok now but it did get very sick.

  5. As long as their eating fine, and they are eating normal "adult" food, they should be fine just make sure their in the paddock alone unless you are sure the other horse/pony wont hurt them. Also if it is summer or late spring time, and its warm, it should be okay. But early fall to winter you shouldn't since they are so young

  6. Your baby should be fine.  We use to breed minis and they were always outside in the weather...They did have shelters but it seems even with the little babies they preferred to be in the weather.

  7. most likely yeah, but that is awful small, i'm assuming it's still with its mom

although it is EXTREMELY rare, a pack of coyotes could take out a horse that size fiarly easily, but then again, extremely rare. just wanted you to know it's probably okay but not 100 percent risk free

also just like every1 else has said, good fences, careful for too cold of temperatures, etc.
