As crazy as it sounds, this was not as simple moving violation or ticket. It is being charged as a misdemeanor ( he wasn't drinking or speeding) My step son who is 23 relieved this ticket on our Polaris Ranger. He holds a government job and the charge could effect his position and result in disciplinary actions. Our Ranger is now state inspected, temporarily licensed w/ plate and insurance and is 100% legal to be on the road. I am wondering if it would benefit him to have an attorney to fight the charge. I have always thought that having one decreased whatever the courts would do to you. Any advice or personal experience out there on this? Thanks!!

  1. An attorney is always beneficial in court proceedings, they have access to the prosecuting attorney and the judge that citizens do not have, however if you go into court and show the judge that you have made the vehicle street legal you should be able to get it reduced to a traffic violation and pay a fine.~
