  1. a lord is like someone who isquite powerful and stuff

like the lord of commons makes sure everyone has a nice time

    and a great dday out

    **** that

    it means ike a mediator

  2. Mick Jagger has been knighted not......lorded.

Jimmy Page recieved an O.B.E. and he gets to have a KeithRichardsskin toilet seat, which is actually the same as a pigskin toilet seat, so I guess Mick Jagger could at least get a regular pigskin toilet seat.

  3. A lord is a Peer of the Realm and is allowed to sit in the house of lords (god forbid he ever does!) which is the second tier of government, non elected old f&rts who sit around falling asleep whilst supposedly keeping the elected politicians in check.

Pig skin toilet seats are optional.

  4. Mick Jagger just received the highest  honor that a civilian can receive,a KNIGHTHOOD;it's just recognition for his long, successful and exceptional career.I don't think he was made a "Lord." That would take an act of Parliament to make Jagger an hereditary Peer of the Realm.Jagger can be called "SIR" not "Lord."

    From http://www.royal.gov/uk/ouput/Page4877.a...

"A knighthood (or a damehood, its female equivalent) is one of the highest honours an individual in the United Kingdom can achieve.

While in past centuries knighthood used to be awarded solely for military merit, today it recognises significant contributions to national life.

Recipients today range from actors to scientists, and from school head teachers to industrialists.

A knighthood cannot be bought and it carries no military obligations to the Sovereign.

The Queen (or a member of the Royal Family acting on her behalf) confers knighthood in Britain, either at a public Investiture or privately.

The ceremony involves the ceremonial dubbing of the knight by The Queen, and the presentation of insignia.

By tradition, clergy receiving a knighthood are not dubbed, as the use of a sword is thought inappropriate for their calling.

Foreign citizens occasionally receive honorary knighthoods; they are not dubbed, and they do not use the style 'Sir'.

Such knighthoods are conferred by The Queen, on the advice of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, on those who have made an important contribution to relations between their country and Britain.

Foreign citizens given knighthoods over the years include Chancellor Kohl, President Mitterrand and Mayor Giuliani of New York.

The origins of knighthood are obscure, but they are said to date back to ancient Rome, where there was a knightly class Ordo Equestris (an order of mounted nobles). "

All Mick Jagger can do is use the honorofic of "Sir" as that is all there is with this kind of recognition for a job well done!

  5. call him up and ask

  6. Mick Jagger is NOT "now a Lord" and I can't see him ever becoming one. He is Sir Michael Phillip Jagger. Being knighted and being made a Peer are two different things.

As for the pigskin toilet seat, I've no idea...

  7. it's a honoray title bestowed by the  queen,it has a i title and means nothing.HE can be called Lord

    JAGGER,or Sir JAGGER.
