MInor Car Accident. Need an estimate.?

Question

There is a partial hole on the front bumper of my car (see picture below).

How much would it cost to repair it?

Thou$and$.... because they will replace it.  I just had something similar happen and because I had to pay it on my own, My body shop used a "patch" and "welded" the plastic, with  fiber glass behind the panel.   It looked wonderful after the repair and can't be told from new.  The cost was about 1/4 of replacing the entire panel.

Might be easier to replace it and repaint. A scratch on the bumper can already cost 6-700 a crack will be more. The problem is to colour match the thing...

Was it your fault and were you insured?

Depends on who does the work, why type of car. I can only guess, but I'll guess about $2000.00
