Question:

MLA format question for citations?

So I have all of my main sources in my bibliography. What if I just have one quote from a book, and the only thing I used it for was that ONE quote--I didn't even read the book for this paper. Can I put those titles in a footnote??

  1. you have to cite everything that is not yours

    even htough you didn't read all the book

    it does not matter that quote is not yours

    put everything in a work cited page
