my guy is in the minors and is only bating 200

I agree with Rob.  You gotta think about what u r going to do. i used to try and hit home runs all the time and my average was like 100...then i started bunting if he was fast and getting base hits and i got my averaGE TO 360 and am in the MLB so thats wat u should do.

What are you looking exactly to improve your batting average?  You should utilize the guess pitch option using the R3 button and select fastball with a location zone using hte right analog pad to select a strike zone.  then wait for a pitcher to throw in that zone with a fastball and swing.  typically u will get a hit off of that.  minor leaguers depends on their fastball so you will get a couple chances at each at bat to get your pitch.  Also, rarely do you swing on the first pitch.  unless its middle high or its locked in your fastball and strikezone.  but even the pitcher can throw to the corner or throw balls even if your zone u choose is highlighted so be selective too on first swing pitch.  and swing on favored hitter counts such as 3-0, 2-0, 3-1, or even 2-1.  Hope this helps!

so play better!  when your player does not have the stats or attributes you have to think a little harder about what you want to do when at bat.  do not try to crush the ball, just go for base hits and ewventually he will get better and better.

try guessing before each pitch and using the right analog stick to aim where u want to hit u can also press rectangle if u wanna power hit
