MLB 2008 the show career mode

Question

I have two questions.

1.)When I use the roster update, will the updates work in the career mode and

2.)Since the Giants wont have a very good SS after Vizquel, would it be a good idea for me to be a SS in the Giants' organization?

yes, but you have to do it right after you load the roster

i still like being a right fielder for the mariners, you automaically start with the best power possible for not playing a game and become the best starter in the organization automatically. anyway, keep resigning with them because you wont get called up your first year

this is really boring and takes about 2 hours, but i always try to break the hit streak and save after every 5 games with a hit once you get to the majors. you geet 200 extra points. my guy is 27 years old and is just starting to take off as a 50+ home run hitter every year for the phillies

Ya as long as you start your career with the updated roster, and ya the giants dont have any other good shortstop, you would have to beat out ochoa and burress depending on how they do im sure you would be the started after a year or two
