MLB 2K7 Question........Stealing Bases

When stealing a base in MLB 2K7 when 2 people are on....How do you make only one of those 2 people steal????

push the steal button but push the directional button towards third at the same time

Hold the button of the base (Like on the Gamecube Y is second base) and press the steal button.
