Game 1 - September 26: Los Angeles Dodgers 4 – Arizona Diamondbacks 2

Dodgers managed a 4-2 victory in the first game, as Dana Eveland was notable with his pitching. He pitched just over five innings with an ERA of 3.03 and struck-out five batters in the Dodgers impressive victory. Eveland was excited after this win and said,
“Especially against Hudson, I had assumed it was going to be a battle the whole way. It ended up being that after that (the first) when he settled down.”

on his 73 pitches.
Diamondbacks’ manager, Kirk Gibson said, “At least it didn't bounce off his head and go over the fence. We got a break there, too, I guess.”
Dodgers’ Dee Gordon, Jerry Sands, Matt Kemp, James Loney, Aaron Miles and Eugenio Velez each singled to post six runs on the score-board. Hiroki Kuroda had an insecure day with the ball as he pitched his six innings with an ERA of 3.07 and permitted only
five hits with five strike-outs on 101 pitches.
Game 3 - September 28: Los Angeles Dodgers 7 – Arizona Diamondbacks 5

In the final game of the series, Diamondbacks lost by 7-5. Dodgers’ third baseman Justin Sellers shined as he hit one RBI and went 2-for-4 with an average of .203.
Diamondbacks added five runs in the series decider. Paul Goldschmidt, Collin Cowgill, Ryan Roberts, Cole Gillespie and Henry Blanco each singled to keep the Diamondbacks alive. The Dodgers fought hard throughout the game as they managed to get a much needed
victory over the Diamondbacks. However, it was a tremendous team effort that gave the Dodgers the series win.
