MLB Season Review: Houston Astros defeat New York Mets 2-1 in three-game series
National League’s Houston Astros and New York Mets battle hard in a thrilling three game series. Astros did a valuable job as they sealed a 2-1 victory in this series after beating the Mets convincingly. Astros has had a remarkable season so far as they
got an acceptable Win-Loss record during the season.

the ball extremely well. He was able to throw all of his pitches over the plate. He's good.”
On the other side, Mets’ batters were able to take only one run right through the whole game. Jonathon Niese pitched well for the Mets but that was not enough to earn a win for his team. He was able to strike-out only three batters during his 113 pitches

Game 2 – April 20: Houston Astros 4 – New York Mets 3
In the second game, Astros outclassed the Mets 4-3. Astros’ starter, Bud Norris pitched the ball accurately as he threw six innings and allowed only three runs with an ERA of 4.91. Norris was able to strike-out just six batters during his 106 pitches.
Mills said, “Getting a hit like Hunter did tonight to put us over -- I think the guys feel what it's like now to do that. And that's sure nice to see it come around like that.”
Mets struggled with the bat and added just three runs until the end of the game. R.A. Dickey had a bad day with the ball as he pitched eight innings with an ERA of 4.10 and surrendered eight hits with two walks on his 104 pitches. Dickey struck-out four
batters and gave away just four earned runs.

win against the struggling Mets.
