MLB TV blackout question?

I just bought a yearly subscription of MLB tv for 19.95 just to find out that I cant watch my team's (Yankees) games. It says Im blacked out from watching the game. Does this mean I wont be able to watch any game and that I just spent 19.95 for nothing?

MLBTV for online, or even the MLB Extra innings package for your TV are designed for you to see out of market games. If your local cable providor allows you to see the Yankees, then buying this package is unnecessary. Keep it only if you want to watch games besides your Yankees.

You need to subscribe to the YES network to get all of the Yankee games.
