Yes, the Yankees got pudge for the cancer Farnsworth and Boston was dumb enough to trade the Yankee killer Manny to the dodgers.

as a tigers fan....i no we need bullpen help but givin up a future HOFer for one guy who is average wasnt a good deal, maybe if we got farnsworth and a couple prospects...but the move they made jus shockd me

The only move we made was trading Anthony Reyes (which is a good thing) for a minor leaguer. Why the Cards didn't get anyone to help the bullpen is beyond me.

None that I know of.  It would've been nice if the Brewers tried to improve the bullpen, but I don't think that happened.

So for us, it's just the Sabathia and Durham trades.

Good Trades: Harden to Cubs, Griffey to White Sox, Pudge to Yankees,  C.C. Sabathia  to Brewers

Bad Trades: Manny to Dodgers

the phillies are absolutely gutless. they bring in Mr Mediocre Joe Blanton last week and decided to sit on their hands since. If there is one reason this team doesnt go deep into the playoff, its because teams like Milwake and Chicago go and get stuff done while you just sit back watch.

Cubs got their players way before the deadline. They were looking to bolster up their pitching, and by getting Rich and Chad, they've made themselves the team to beat in the NLC.

Especially after DESTROYING the Brewers in the 4-game set.
