i was reading in a BJJ magizine that royce gracie does cadio 4 times a week and wheight lifting trainning 3 times a week. My cario trainnings doing great but now i need to tack on some strength. my last qeustion was about a good wheight lifting ruitine to do like royce three times a week. and i was sent a randy coulture circuite wheight lifting ruitine. he does four sets of this grueling wheight lifting routine that transfers right into another after another and another so on so on...untill hes done then takes a 1 min break, but then the video stops..my queston is since he does four sets i only needed to see 1 because the next three sets should be the exact same right????? and also im sure royce's wheight lifting ruitines are differ from randys. so my next q is that the only wheight lifting routine i should do 3 times a week? it doesent change at all? any additional tips?? sorry this qs so long and thank you for your answers! much appriciated.

  1. Wait wait wait,......i understand your question....

    Mix it up....Muscle confusion.....

If you wanna get stronger you have to vary your excercises and muscle groups...its not a bad idea to watch a video of guys like that who are seasoned and experienced...but remember they have been doing it a long time....

For example, if your workout on the weekend is focused on biceps, forearms, wrists, and abs (theoretically) then come monday or tuesday you wanna do a workout with chest, shoulders, triceps, and legs...or whatever....point is mix it up, thats the best way to go

In reference to the end of your question about the circuit training, yes....after that one set...repeat it 3 more times exactly the same for 4 sets total...
