MN gas scooter laws?

i am thinking about buying a stand up 49cc gas scooter to get to friends houses and just aaround town , im 15 so what are the laws in MN(Maple Grove, suburb of Minneapolis

hay i live in southern mn.  if it is under 90 cc u can drive it butt if its over 90 cc then u need a motorcycle endorsment butt in your case u dont need 1. i know that they (the city ) banned the stand up scooters. becouse that they are not realy called a scooter. thats what i heard or some thing like that. butt if u get the 1 that every 1 else is buying ( the sit down kind) then there street legal becouse they have brake lights, turn singles ect. as the stand up scooter dose not or might not have those things. so just spend the money and get some thing that is legal.

call MVD and ask.  I talked to an older lady driving one to work and here in Rochester MN, she said she did not have to have a special license but she had to wear a helmet.  Age may be a factor.
