MOBILE PHONE HELP!! CAN I USE MY PHONE IN LANZAROTE?

hi every1,i have a samsung e900, and i am on vodafone, will i be able to use my mobile there and txt pple back in england, i am also part of a vodafone family plan which allows my parents and me to call eahc other for free,can i use this in lanzarote,thanks guys

My guess is that it is unlikely that a free calling plan in UK would extend to free call within/to/from other countries even though you are using a UK number - but yes, you should be able to txt internationally from Lanzarote; provided you have enough funds in your account.  Most if not all phone companies provide for this now - even pay-as-you-go services.

The best bet however would be to call Vodafone customer services and check out the exact deals of the calling/subscription plan you are on - that way you wont be left with any unpleasant surprises or unexpectedly high telephone bills...

Hi, no problem using vodafone in Lanzarote. Calls will roam on VF Spain so will be expensive both in and out. However.....Ensure that you have plan inclusive minutes available (contract). Register for vodafone 'passport' tarrif. All calls out or in will then be 75p for up to an hour plus your inclusive minutes. Texts are about 45p each.
