but i really think there should be models that are a size 2 and 4 instead of zeros and just jump from there to like a size 14

No -- many of them are naturally thin. Some are due to unhealthy eating habits (or lack thereof) but who's to say what's "too thin." I'm sure many of them feel beautiful, as they and the fattest of fat girls have a right to.

it depends what type of model u are not all models are super skinny

but most really skinny models are high fashion models

Yes most of the time.

For example the average catwalk model is 5ft10 and around 120lb. That is 15lb underweight for that height.

I dont think that people should be hating on all the models for being so thin. Only some are anorexic but most arae naturally thin. And they deserve to feel beautiful like anyone else. Just like utterly obese people, their habits arent healthy, but for some of them, its genetic! In any body type, people should embrace you size and we should all give help if needed and compliments. America has a problem with obesity does it  not? we should be focusing on that!! Not humans who are paid to model designer's creations! Designer draw a thin phisique when designing their new lines for fashion. You don't see healhty curves, the clothes are the attention, not the body. So why must we be yelling at the models when their bodies are their own. Their own responsibility. Everyone deserves respect.

Sorry to preach but it depends on which one I think. But, even though someone said they're airbrushed, there are models that are too skinny. I agree with someone that said that it can be a lot of pressure for women (most models are women I think). I think men/boys should...not should, sounds like an order, could find women who don't pay attention to models and are very comfortable with their bodies very attractive. They should...d**n!, not should! (lol!)...could give them huge respect.

yea they should use normal girls cuz the pressure they put on us girls to be skinny, have perfect skin, perfect hair and the truth is none of that is capable!!! Im 14 and at least 4 girls go to the guidence everyday because theyre behlimic/ anerexic!!!! its just sad!

yes i read somewhere that models are something like 20 cm taller (2/3 or a foot) than theaverage female but almost 20 punds lighter. i might be a bit off but it doesnt sound healthy

It isn't their job to be attractive, their job is to make the clothing look  good.  For that purpose, designers prefer women shaped like coat hangers.  Regular women have all those womanly curves that are inconvenient in the fashion show.

Many people have been tricked into considering skinny models the height of female attractiveness.  Why are we leaving that choice to an industry populated mostly by straight women and g*y men?

Yes, I agree, but lately many designers are making sure that their models are not anorexic skinny. Many designers are usin healtheir girls who are naturaly skinny.
