  1. yes your tanks will be fine.  Just remember when you get your mollies the females will already be pregers, so be ready to house little ones shortly.  Also, they can hold male sperm for up to 5 sets of fry and can have anywhere from 1-100 fry (more mature females to the latter there)  You really don't have to remove the fry from the main tank.  Floating plants work really well for new born fry.

What type of mollies do you have?  3 would be fine as well in the tank.

  2. A 10 gallon tank would work for a trio of one male and 2 females.  There is really no point in separating the fry unless you have some reason to want to raise them.  Mollies will have live young about every 28 days and it doesn't take long to be overwhelmed with little fish.  It's Much easier to just make sure your tank is well planted and let nature take it's course.

  3. A 10 gallon tank should be just fine for two mollies.  However, mollies don't lay eggs, they are live bearers.

  4. i would get 2-3 females per male. that way when they are ready to breed, the one female won't get picked on. it will ensure the health of your female.

  5. Mollies are live barring fish they don't lay eggs.  A 10  gal tank will be fine for a while, but as they have babies they will need a larger tank.  Just for thought they will also eat there babies as well.

  6. 2 mollies will be ok in a 10 gallon tank but they will breed fast they can have up to 80 live babies at 1 time they breed/produce every 6 weeks also mollies prefer some salt in their water 1 teaspoon of salt to every 5 litres of water
