Ok, she is 5'7 and approximately about 130lbs. She is VERY skinny and has curly bloned hair and brown eyes. She is 39. Today we went to a street fair and got a caracture of me and one of her. When we got into the car she started crying and said that she is ugly and is still upset. What to do to convince her that she is PRRRRRetty?????? THANX

Does your mom think a certain celebrity is pretty/handsome? Maybe you could show her a really bad caricature of some celeb, and then she will realize how ridiculous those things are.

Plus, tell her how beautiful she is (if you haven't tried that already)!

You could say, "Mom, you have the most amazing body, gorgeous legs, and naturally curly hair that so many people would be jealous to have!! I just want you to know that I PRAY TO GOD that I look like you when I'm 39."

I think she would love to hear her daughter say that, and you can smile and laugh when you say it (laugh in that kind of, I-can't-believe-I-have-to-tell-you-this kind of way).

Have any of your friends ever complimented your mom and said she was pretty? If so, then tell her that, too!
