MOM STILL HURTING BAD?

MY son just phoned me from rehab . i asked if i could visit he said no no no. i asked why he said it is over mom and that i bugged him to much. after i dropped off clothes water and $2:00 dollars because that's all i had. now what to do, should i go and give him some money even thou he said this and move on because he is hurting imam scared imam losing him or should i talk to his counselor or just leave him alone. imam hurting imam sad and mixed up i don't want him to hate me. he told me once weekends for his girl friend but what has she done iam confused please help me

Well, it's a good sign that he called you,anyway. I think he just needs some time alone in there to sort things out. Give him some space and after more counseling and positive input from his network, he'll come around. He needs to have as little stress from home as he can to accomplish staying sober. Let him work it out and I guarantee you he will start coming to you for support.

Just back off a bit. Give him some time to get through this. Maybe he feels like he needs to handle some of this on his own. Let him know you will be there when he is ready. He knows you love him, and he will come around. Just give him some time
