MOMS CLUB NATIONAL ORGANIZATION... problem...?

I have been a member of the MOMS Club for 1.5years now. It has always been a very positive experience for my kids and I. The board just changed in July and I volunteered to be the treasurer. Now... being on the board - I feel like things have changed drastically. The woman who is president CONSTANTLY bad mouths other members (who are supposedly her friends) and has lots of issues with a certain member. I have had NO issues with ANY other member that would make me complain about them (not even in the slightest). At first I was feeling like it was just her personality and I'd just ride it out and ignore it, BUT I just got an email from her that contained cut/pasted lines from the EX. Pres. also bashing one certain member. (I NEVER would have expected this from the EX. Pres... nor have I had any issue with this other member). Quite frankly I am fed up - I am not part of this group so we can act like teenagers and knock down the other women in the group. I really feel like I want to leave the board and the group altogether. What should I do? I did reply to the initial emails (that complained about this one member) saying "I had NO issues with her, and feel like she should not be singled out". It has however carried on. (I have not heard any other board members comment either way on how they feel about getting these 'backstabbing' emails.)

I am just so upset that this is a MOMS SUPPORT group - and look whats going on behind the scenes?!!

FYI...emails can be changed...the cut and pasted portions of an email you really can't trust. All of that could have been made up. Is there a specific reason why you can't resign off of the board? That sounds like your best bet.
