My baby is almost 7 months and when she drinks her bottle and wants more I make a whole separate bottle. Can't I just use the same bottle as long as its not being use after the 1 hour time frame. Like if I give her a bottle she drinks it within ten minutes and wants more can I jsut make it in that same bottle. Its just that I seem to be washing bottles ALL day long. Thanks!

  1. I always use the same bottle. There is no reason not to.

  2. Yes, you can use the same bottle.  That is what I do, just rinse it out.

  3. just use the same one.  Don't kill yourself over having to wash bottles all day long.  Take the time you'd use doing that and spend it with your little one.  Children need to be exposed to some germs, right?  Otherwise how will they ever build any immunities to them?

  4. I only ever used the same bottle.  I just try to make sure the scoop doesn't touch the bottle.  I've never had a problem that I've be aware of.  I wouldn't want to keep washing bottles either.

  5. If my son wants more, I always make it in the same bottle.  As long as you're not using a bottle that has had expired milk in it all day, then it's perfectly fine.  There's no reason to dirty a second bottle.

  6. I usually just rinse out my daughter's cup with hot water if she wants more. No need in making more dishes for yourself. If she's finished THEN I wash!

  7. Why not just start making more in the bottle. Say if she normally drinks 6 ounces and is still hungry start making her 8 ounces. This way you don't have to worry about that.

  8. Oh yeah that is fine just give it a quick rinse and your good to go!

  9. I think if you keep the scoop clean you should be fine.  I also think you could make a larger portion in a larger container, and just refill the bottle.

  10. Yes you can do that.  I usually rinsed my sons out when he did this, I got tired of washing bottles too.  I felt better knowing that their was no old formula from the last bottle in there even though he had just finished drinking it.  I tried making more in his bottle but the times I did this he never wanted the extra so it was wasted.  Formula is expensive so I wouldn't suggest doing this.  I learned real quick that if he wanted more he would let me know, probably much like the same way your daughter does.

  11. you should be fine

  12. Yes, that is totally fine.  Just give it a quick rinse and use the same one.  That is what I used to do if she wanted more, but now I just make her an 8 oz bottle instead of a 6oz and that seems to do the trick for now.
