MONSTER huge fighter VS me? How do you beat a huge muscular fighter?

This guy is about 60pounds heavier than me, much slower, but dense with muscle. I have a friend telling me to use nerve strikes to try and cripple him....I know a little of that. I'm primarily a street fighter/BJJ grappler. Any suggestions? (ME = 6'3" 241# of muscle and speed.)

  1. Im with your friend too. Aim for vulnerable points on his body. You can chip away at his knees, a lot of people i've noticed train their upper body, and neglect lower body, but seeing as his a fighter, he probably wuld condition his lower body also.

Bjj is effective for beating a bigger opponent, as you are simply using the principles of leverage to beat him, and realistically, you cant beat physics.

But i would go with the vulnerable points, throat, neck, groin, under the arms, back of the head, temples, knees, nose, etc. Whatever works. Im assuming this is just an all out street fight?

  2. I'm kinda with your friend - I'd focus on one area of his body - go at the same knee with kicks the whole time and make sure your conditioning will allow you to go for a long time. I hope you have some time in this fight because your best chances will come from outworking him late.

  3. I would stay away from him and not tie up or wrestle with him per say but constantly break away if he does and throw elbows and jabs as I did so or scramble if on the ground.  You have the reach advantage and that way his greater strength is a little more nullified if you don't close with him for long periods of time and tie up with him.  I would start with a hard kick to the groin or knee and if that is successful then follow up with several more.   Punch for the eyes and nose and if closing with him poke him in the eye with your fingers.  If he gets you in a waist lock or bear-hug from the front a good ear clap will do the trick for getting him to let go.  Shots to the knees, groin, finger jabs to the eyes, ear claps and elbows and knees to a lesser extent can all be very effective since it does not matter how much muscle the other guy has generally speaking for those techniques to be affective.

  4. to answer that firstly you look at what exactly his stlye is, and you might think of telling us too so we can actually help you come up with an idea.

A 'huge muscular guy' does not give us much to work with. huge muscular bodybuilder? Wrestler? bouncer?

how can we advise with only that?

You sure you are a fighter yourself? very strange question for a guy with BJJ/streetfighting experience etc.

  5. LEG KICKS OVER AND OVER AGAIN

lol trust me im a muay thai fighter and trust me from the very start kick his leg with your shin as hard as you can over and over again he will go down pretty fast

  6. I'm not a trained fighter. I dislike fighting. Yet when I have gotten into fights, I do what comes natural. When I was in the Army, there was this one big black dude and I think he was g*y. He had picked me up and told me I looked kinda cute. I instinctly grabbed his underarms and squeezed. He immediately let go and never bothered me again. So against a bigger guy, I recommend fighting dirty and go for their weak soft spots, ie underarm, behind the knees, and groin shots. That will stop them from pestering you.
