Thanks for your input fellas. I am also interested in buying a MOTION SENSOR FLOOD LIGHTS (hard wired) for the back yard. Can anyone tell me what is the best quailty brand \ model to buy. I uses to have 2 motion sensor lights for the deck about 3 yrs ago. The first one mafunctioned due to flooding of the sensor and the other one just stoped working after a year. Both were bought at Home Depot. I just had bad luck with them. I live in Phila, Pa

  1. Wrong forum, try home maintenance.

  2. hmmmmm well a lot depends on the weather and location of where you have the light.  If the light faces south then its in the sun all day and can cause the sensor to wear out after a few years.  If the location of the light is exposed to all rain and snow because it just to the left or right of the door etc then that too will have an effect of the lasting of the light.  No mater what brand you use all this is going to take effect.
