if i go to the movies with my sister who is 13 and i am 11 and we want to see a PG-13 movie, will i (11) be able to get in?

  1. if u look like ur 11 then no, i guess it all depends so it seems we'll have to get all disapointed like huh? buy the ticket not get in that sort of thing. man that would suck


  2. Depends on the theatre.  If they are strict on the "no one under 13" rule, then no.  But, most likely, the probably will.

The ratings of the AAMP have no basis in law;  they are merely suggestions.  That being said, some theaters treat them like the law, so it depends on the theater, and on the film.  I've watched "R" rated movies with my kids, but only if they understand that we don't talk that way, we don't kill people, we don't drive that way, we don't treat women like trash, etc.

  8. All you can do is try, I'd suggest you have an adult 18 or older be prepared to stay with you and watch the movie with you two so that you can still watch the movie.
