MP C7095. Fully charged. loaded music and knowthe MP3 will not turn on unless I use the reset

Fully charged. loaded music and knowthe MP3 will not turn on unless I use the reset button. Then will not turn off properly. I called a tech and he went through the format process and still not working. He stated I could keep it and use the reset button to turn on and off. for 100 dollarsd I think not..... I guess that I will return. This is the second one. Coby just lost a customer.I only can turn my player on with the on off button when plugged to an off computer. If not plugged, only can be turned on with the reset button and off with the automatic shut down. I tried to reset it and to format it but nothing works.
