I've searched and searched and even found many topics on Y!A on this subject, but so far nothing has helped. I bought a song from itunes, and it's been saved as mpeg4 and I cannot open it with any program on my laptop or my sansa. They all don't recognize it. I found a question from a year ago here, and she was able to figure it out,but so far it hasn't worked for me. What am I doing wrong?

  1. You can convert it online at zamzar.com or media-convert.com

  2. go to download.com and type MPEG4 to mp3 conversion

i use it on my sansa/PSP for songs

  3. watch this vid hope it helps!

  4. Download SUPER

Top left click the drop down menu and select mp3 or wma

Drag the folder to the box at the bottom

    Then press encode

Make a note of where it saves to (C:\Program Files\eRightSoft\SUPER\OutPut)

Then do whatever you like with it!

  5. I downloaded Cucusoft Ultimate Video Converter to help me at

    http://www.dvdipodsoft.com/ultimate-vide...

It's fast, easy and very wonderful. I think it is a good choose. You can download it to help you too.

  6. It does not matter if it's a mpeg 4, it uses iTunes DRM (digital rights management) meaning that you can not play it on anything else except iTunes, iPods, iPhones, and Apple TV's.

There is a slight workaround off burring to a disc, then re-ripping the CD, but this reduces (and even ruins) quality

Mpeg 4 it's self not a bad format, it is the successor to Mp3, if you want to avoid DRM try buying only iTunes+ tracks (256kbps and DRM free)
