MPG/GAS.. whatev - Question!?

Alright, I live in NEPA... and I'm traveling to Pittsburgh, i estimate this will be about 320 miles. Then I'm traveling to Columbus, OH - and I'm estimating this will be about 185 miles. Then Back to NEPA which is approx 485 miles! I recently bought a 08 Scion Tc, which combined gets about 25 mpg. I know that gas is around $3.10-3.15 and it costs me about $30-32 to fill up.

Does anyone have any idea of how many times I would have to stop for gas throughout the whole trip?

You'll be traveling 990 miles during the trip, and based on the information you gave us, you can go about 250 miles on each tank.

If you start with a full tank, you will have to fill up three times on your way and will get home with just a few gallons left.

Four full tanks for a straight shot.  I estimate that your tank is about ten gallons.
