MPG on Sportsbike?

I was curious as to the miles per gallon on a sports bike for the street, like the honda's or those, no harleys, the sports kind

The HD only gets about 40 MPG.

The sports bikes get little bit better at 50 MPG to 60 MPG depending on the engine size and the riding habits.

I agree with "Lover Not A Fighter"

but I say NO HD gets more than 40 mpg

a 600-650cc sport bike is perfect when it comes to performance and excellent gas mileage

I own a Yamaha FZ6 that gets 55 mpg and it will go 144 mph and will outperform ANY cruiser bike

my bike is faster and it gets better mpg than your bike!

Joe when it rains here, all the sports bikers run and hide in thier garages, for all that power just gets you dumped on your full face helmet.

Yet we ride our 650 crusiers 100 miles a day, 5 days a week, 11 months a year (get holiday for one month) at 58-59 MPG.

with no back ache, cramped legs, and cops chasing us down.
