MPG questions?

I'm trying to make little table tents to place at a restaurant where I work.

I'm looking for information on increasing MPG in cars. I have found a few sites but the information doesn't give me that amount percent of gas save/percent increase in mpg.

Any information/sites would be greatly appreciated.

Proper air pressures in tires is something that most people overlook and can cost you big in the mpg game. Also keeping up on oil changes and air fitler changes helps.

One big thing is how you drive, hard acceleration and braking is bad when your on a highway or interstate use the cruise control when ever possible. never use fuel injector cleaners on octane boosters, they only incease octane by about 1 octane and can do more harm that good.

Idling does not have a significant impact, but tire pressure, as others pointed out, is critical. Also, driving 60 mph as opposed to 72 mph makes a big difference. For example, it was surprising for me to find out they I used less gas on my 20 mile commute if I used surface roads, as opposed to the freeway. Despite the fact that it was stop-and-go, the savings from going slower (avg. 40 mph vs. 72 mph) was significant. Please remind people that if they drive slower on the freeway, they should use the right lanes!

first make sure your car is running properly.  change oil, air filter, fuel filter.  check your tire air pressures monthly.  mostly drive easily avoid hard starts, excessive idling and drive the speed limit.  don't waste your money on chemicals that claim to boost your mpg.  hope i could help out
