MS Access 2003 question?

Question

I have MS Access on my comp & am trying to open up a file for a game that I should be able to open with Access.

If this file were made using MS Access 2007, would that hinder me from opening it with MS Access 2003?

If so, is there some kind of program I can download to allow me to open Access 07 files with Access 03? I know there is a program that allows Excel 07 files to be converted into Excel 03 files & opened with Excel 03.

FYI - When I try to open the file, I'm given a warning that says:

" Unrecognized database format.'C:\File Location' "
