The hosts comfortably chased down the 158-run target with 13 balls and five wickets to spare, to claim a morale-boosting victory following their Test series defeat. All-rounder Yuvraj Singh, who was dropped for the final Test against England due to struggling form, followed up his impressive bowling figures of 3-19 with a blistering 38-run knock, which came off just 21 deliveries. "The way (Alex) Hales started - he went after the bowlers - that was the difficult part. We all know it's a bit easier to score against the new ball on the sub-continent, particularly in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/India-c750."
"It was important from the eighth over that we tried to bring the team back into the game. And the fielding, which I wanted the team to do well...I thought we did brilliantly," he added further.
The Ranchi boy, who himself scored an unbeaten 24, reserved special praise for Yuvraj, who took crucial wickets of Hales (56), Luke Wright (34) and English skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Eoin-Joseph-Gerard-Morgan-c56032 (5).
"Yuvraj was brilliant. He bowled really well and at the right pace," said Dhoni. "I felt each and every bowler, apart from Yuvraj, bowled at least one bad over in the game. But I'm overall very happy with the performance," concluded the wicketkeeper batsman.
