Indian skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Saurashtra-c839 middle-order batsman, Cheteshwar Pujara, may have to wait a little more to make his One Day International debut.
While speaking to media reporters today, Dhoni said that it was highly unlikely to hand Pujara his ODI cap on Friday.
"Well it (ODI debut) looks very unlikely as of now because we have to see the whole batting line-up the position he's ideally suited for and all those things. As of now, it looks very unlikely," Dhoni said at the customary press conference
on the eve of the first ODI against England at the SCA stadium here in Rajkot.
"Let's see what happens tomorrow. If somebody gets unfit, we'll see ... As of now everyone is fit. I don't know if it will change by night, but everyone is fit now," the home skipper added further.

last year.
Pujara, who will turn 25 later this month, replaced out of form experienced opening batsman http://www.senore.com/Cricket/V-Sehwag-c2739 in the 15-man squad. However, rather than practicing with the rest of the national team, the emerging right-hander continued
playing in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Kumar-Shri-Ranjitsinhji-c71870 Trophy quarterfinal after getting permission from the Indian team management.
Dhoni’s captaincy has also been under scrutiny of late, following India’s dismal showings in Test and ODI format of the game, with some of the former cricketers asking for his sacking at the helm. However, Dhoni said that giving up captaincy was not on his
mind right now.
"We'll have to wait and watch. It's not something that's on my mind right now, before the start of an important series. We can't be thinking about that now. Let's wait and watch when we get some time off," concluded the Indian skipper.
