MS Dhoni unhappy over reshuffle of IPL teams
Chennai Super Kings skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/MS-Dhoni-c2028 has joined the group of Indian cricketers who have expressed their displeasure over the re-jigging of the Indian Premier League sides from the next edition of the tournament.
Earlier, Sachin Tendulkar had expressed concerns over the fact that almost all the members of the IPL teams would be put back into the auction pool.

Dhoni, who has led the Super Kings for three seasons of the IPL and in the Champions League T20 this year, said that he was very happy with the manner in which the side had gelled as a unit in the three years.
He also added that there were players who missed out on the tournament like Matthew Hayden and Michael Hussey did in the first edition, while some others were injured like Jacob Oram, but the side had done well overall.

Chennai have clearly been one of the most consistent teams in the tournament, having won the 2010 edition of the IPL and ended runner-up in 2008. They were also the semi-finalists in the 2009 season of the
tournament, and Dhoni has been the captain for all the three. Chennai also won the Champions League T20 that concluded on Sunday.

Dhoni then said, “Emotionally, we are quite attached but unfortunately we won’t be able to retain the same team,” He added that he hoped that there were a few more players from Chennai who could remain with
the franchise, instead of going back to the auctions.

For the next edition of the tournament, there will be a fresh auction that will take place. The teams have the option of retaining up to three domestic and up to two foreign players, with a maximum total
of four players from the previous seasons. The IPL auction will be held in November and the contracts will be handed over for a couple of years.
