MS word help........................

I copied a page by selecting text from the .pdf file, pasted on a page of MS word.

but that page is pasted in the same style as it was on .pdf.

that is, a sentence gets completed in next line, even when the starting words (few) are still on previous line.

for example,

"Research suggests the foundation

for behavior characteristics

is laid during the first five years of

life. And addressing

behavior development early has

shown promise as a way to

reduce the likelihood of

children becoming criminal offenders

later in life."

it should rather be as, "Research suggests the foundation for behavior characteristics

is laid during the first five years of life. And addressing

behavior development early has shown promise as a way to

reduce the likelihood of children becoming criminal offenders

later in life."

how can I change the previous format of words into the later manner on MS word??

  3. Select and highlight all of the text (Ctrl+A), then go to "Format", and select "Change Case", then click on "sentece case". It will change it to a paragraph format.

  4. you should paste the text into a text file in notepad first and after that copy the text from notepad and paste it into MS word.

  5. Something else to try: When you go to paste the text, do this instead:

In Word versions prior to Word 2007 (Vista):

    1. Click Edit->Paste Special.

    2. Select Unformatted Text in the As list box.

    3. Click OK.

    In Word 2007:

    1. Press ALT/CTRL/V.

    2. Proceed as in Step 2 above.

    Hope that helps.
