Ok..

I've been browsing the web for a while now for solutions to my problem. But I haven't found anything that helps!

Soo I'm using Windows Vista. I'm using the latest version of MSN and the latest version of Windows Media Player. I've selected the "Show what I'm listening to" option under my personal message and I've selected the "Windows Live Messenger plug in" option in WMP. However, when I play my music via WMP nothing shows up!

This has been bugging me for a while now so I'm hoping to find some answers.

Thankyoou!

  1. It won't if you have windows media running aswell

  2. you have to use actual music webs, like bearshare and that

  3. Is this a great tragedy in your life?

  4. emos, and they wonder why we make fun of them

  5. go to where u change ur main name then click then go to options then change it there

  6. I cant either. but I can in xp. Also, if you have any extensions to your msn, I would say uninstall them, things like msn plus and its scripts disrupt some features on msn.

  7. Well firstly make sure on the tab next to your personal message on MSN has a tick next to "show what I'm listening to".

If that's done then go to Windows Media Player, click the Library tab, go to More Options, then on the window that comes up click the Plug-ins tab (should be top left), then click on Background, and make sure there is a tick next to Windows Live Messenger/MSN.

I have to do that a lot, sometimes it turns itself off depending on the order in which I use the two programs.

edit: lol soz I didn't read all your question before haha.

    sooooo...

Sounds like yo' screwed. It's not the end of the world. Move on.
