I have what I think is a unique problem, in that I can't find any mention of it in the knowledge base or on the website for my modem manufacturer. After installing MSN 8, I could no longer get it to recognize my modem. I run Windows XP, and tried everything i reinstalled the drivers, got the latest drivers from the website, I even reinstalled MSN 8. When I try to go into connection settings and change my connection type from "other" to MSN dial-up access, it tells me it can't find any modems attached, and launches the add new hardware wizard. I've checked in control panel, my modem drivers are installed and it works. I even gotten it to dial to register a product, not using MSN. So has anyone heard of this happening before? Is it my modem (Broadxent di3635) or is it MSN? Thank you for any help.
