MSP to LAX to Aukland to Sydney... What to do on the plane?

I am going to Sydney in a few weeks and I am wondering what to do on the plane. I need enough to get me there, and then back (my flight back does not have layovers). I have four books in mind to bring... but I don't know what else. I do not own an iPod or a Laptop... Ideas?

If you have cds, you should buy a walkman. They are not that deer. but bring battiries too.!

If it is a good plane, it should have in-flight dvd. so you could watch that.

also if u have a portable dvd bring that along with a few of ur fav dvds.

Or last option,

Take a sleeping pill (they wont do u any harm just a one off) and you should sleep through the flight.

Do what I do:  Deprive yourself of sleep the night before and bring a good pillow on the flight.  You'll sleep most of the way.  Other than that, you might be tempted to lose your sanity halfway over the Pacific.
