I know this sounds really noobie, but I just want to clarify some things before I create a deck based around Oona, Queen of the Fae. Can I play her ability when she is tapped or does she have to be untapped in order to play her ability? This applies to all other creature abilities as well.

I only ask this because her ability does not require tapping for it to work, so I just wanted to make sure being tapped isn't going to "disable" her.

  1. If a creature must tap in order for it to use it's ability, it must be untapped before you use it.  Oona's ability does not require her to tap in order for her to use her ability so she can use it anytime you have mana to pay for it.

  2. what the said but just wanted to add check out silvergill douser, sower of temptation and circu dmir lobotomist

  3. If a creature's ability doesn't require you to tap it for its ability the ability will work whether the creature is tapped or not. Creatures with a tap ability must remain untapped to play their ability.
