MTG Boggart/Goblin Deck: Input Required?

Just recently picked up MTG for the first time since the Urza days, and am trying to build a boggart/goblin deck using mostly Standard legal cards. Let me know what you think, any input is more than welcome.

Land

4 Graven Cairns

1 Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth

4 Auntie's Hovel

7 Mountain

7 Swamp

Creatures

4 Mogg Fanatic

4 Mudbutton Torchrunner

4 Knucklebone Witch

4 Boggart Harbinger

2 Tar Pitcher

2 Wort, Boggart Auntie

2 Boggart Mob

2 Sensation Gorger

Other

3 Rite of Consumption

2 Boggart Birth Rite

2 Footbottom Feast

2 Rift Bolt

2 Fodder Launch

1 Coat of Arms

1 Phyrexian Soulgorger

The basic premise of the deck is to get the goblins out early for a low mana cost, while sacrificing them to Rite of Consumption, Fodder Launch, Tar Pitcher, and Phyrexian Soulgorger and returning them to play, all while fueling Knucklebone Witch. I also intend to use Boggart Harbinger with Sensation Gorger to control game tempo.

Lemme know what you think!

  1. nice very nice. i play blue/black rogues myself but i like the looks of this.

  2. Mono-Red Goblins are more powerful and more consistent. Black Goblins are really a different deck. They're more based on sacrificing and higher costs for better effects.

    -4 Mudbutton Maniac

    +4 Mogg War-Marshal

You get 2 tokens out of it AND a bonus chump blocker. Win.

    -2 Tar Pitcher

    -2 Sesation Gorger

    +4 Greater Gargadon

Greater Gargadon isn't a Goblin but it is a 9/7 with suspend that you can sac a permanent to to take off time counters. Its a staple in most Goblin decks.

    -4 Boggart Harbinger

    +4 Boggart Ram-Gang

Boggart Harbinger is too slow to be effective, especially since you have to reveal what you searched for. BRG is probably one of the best attackers in Standard and you can't go wrong with that.

    -4 Knucklebone Witch

    +4 Tattermunge Maniac

Its a 2/1 for 1 mana and that forces your opponent to drop a blocker or get beat down quickly.

    -2 Boggart Mob

    +2 Seige-Gang Commander

Its Fling ability is great for shooting your opponent when attacking is too risky. The tokens it makes aren't bad either.

    -3 Rite of Consumption

    -1 Phyrexian Soulgorger

    +4 Tarfire or Shock

Universal burn is needed in this deck.

    -2 Fodder Launch

    +2 Rift Bolt

This is a great first turn move when you don't have any one drops.
